I Heart Makeup Blushing Hearts

Product Reviews

Everyone wants a flush of colour on their cheeks, whether it be subtle, bold, matte or shimmer. I have been after this blush that I’m reviewing today for so long, going into many Superdrug stores and just to be disappointed with it always being out of stock, why you ask?. It’s been named the ‘dupe’ for the Too Faced Sweethearts blush which has a high price tag of £24.

Disclosure- I have bought this product with my own money and it has not been gifted for me to review.

I love the box for this blush, so cute and girly and looks and feels like a small box of chocolates with its heart themed packaging and pink foil detailing. On opening the lid of the box you are greeted with three shades of  baked shimmer blush. There are six different shades in the ‘blushing hearts’ range on Superdrug.com. I have the shade ‘Candy Queen Of Hearts’ which is perfect for my pale skin as darker pinks don’t look right on me.

There is a slight dough like scent to the blush but it isn’t noticeable once applied. The pigmentation when swatched is incredible, even more so when you swipe with a brush and apply to your face. It applies on very smoothly and as it is a shimmer it gives you such a subtle healthy glow, especially if you follow with a highlight.

I haven’t ever tried the Too Faced this is ‘duping’ but for the price tag of £4.99 for 10g of product it is perfect for me being on a budget, And it still looks hella cute on my dressing table.  It will definitely be something I will be repurchasing and I will be picking up the highlighter in this range to try very soon!
