Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst Quenching Serum.

Product Reviews, Uncategorized

Recently I received a email from Glamour Beauty Club that I had been chosen to try out a this facial serum from Caudalie.  Glamour Beauty Club is a service that lets you try out products for free in exchange for honest product reviews. There is no fee as it is not a subscription service and its quick and easy to sign up. Simply wait for a email when products become available. You can also choose if you want it or not in the email. This is the first product I agreed to try I have since had another email about testing more skincare!.

Disclaimer- I received this product free to try and write a review on , that being said all opinions on this are my own and as always, honest.

“This lightweight oil-free serum continuously captures and diffuses water deep within skin to restore moisture balance and leave skin refreshed, hydrated and comfortably soft. Fast absorbing formula. Gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin types.”- Caudalie.

This is a 10ml travel sized product but the full size version is 30ml and retails for £29 with a estimation of 120 uses. You use by simply applying serum onto clean skin in the morning before applying your moisturiser and repeat in the evening once you have cleansed your face/removed any makeup.

This is aimed at those with dry skin that require extra moisture, I have sensitive skin that can get dry in places so I always opt for products that will help me with this. It claims to capture and continuously diffuse water into the skin and restores skins moisture balance as well as being non-comedogenic (does not contain ingredients that will clog pores).

The serum itself is lightweight and has a smooth liquid texture. It has a fresh, sweet floral scent but that doesn’t linger after application. I found that a little goes a long way so this 10ml tube will last me a while.

I found this very easy to apply to my face, it felt like a luxurious treat when massaged and patting it on. It didn’t leave any greasy or sticky residue and did make my skin look a little more lively. I didn’t notice much of a difference after the first use but come midweek when I had used it several times, I had noticed that my dry patches (corners of my nose) have somewhat decreased. It is also worth mentioning that it didn’t affect my makeup application after applying it  the morning so that’s always good.

Would I recommend it? Maybe? It worked well and I cant think of any way in which it failed for me but its the price of the full sized version that puts me off buying it again. My skin isn’t that bad at the moment and I think until my skin becomes a dry patchy mess (check back in winter) I wont be spending out. It was great  being given the opportunity to try this out for free though!. If you think this product is for you and have severe dry skin (so will see better effects) you can purchase it here.

However I really recommend you beauties signing up to Glamour Beauty Club, everyone loves a freebie and its always tailored based on your skin and needs as you take a short survey when signing up so they can hand pick you items.
