The first thing you will notice about this highlighter is the box it is housed in, I am in love with everything about it. From the cutesy swirly text to the image of the highlighters on the top. It’s such a fun themed packaging.
The best thing about this highlight though is the swirl design inside,it is so visually pleasing and looks good enough to eat. It’s aptly named after ‘Gelato’ which is similar to what we call Ice cream in the UK.
The lid is see through and makes this item look high end,it definitely looks amazing on ones dressing table.
This highlight comes in four shades. I chose ‘gilded honey’ which is a subtle copper bronze and the most popular one!. I have recently been loving golden toned highlighters on my pale skin to give a warm glow but if this shade is not your thing there’s also a ‘ballerina’ which is a a dusky rose gold, ‘charming pink’ which is a a pale pink shade and ‘peach glow’ which is a warm apricot shade.

Although golden highlighters are usually know to suit darker skin tones I don’t find this a harsh colour difference on my skin, it just gives me a warm subtle glow and looks stunning with a peach blush.
As you can see above the formula isn’t dry or chalky which is something I hate in a highlight. The creamier the better and this definitely is, it gives that wet dewy look and is perfect to create a Strobe look with. I recently used this to create a golden look as shown below.
A little really does go a long way with the product, you only need a small amount to on your brow bone, cheekbone, end of nose and Cupid’s bow to be glowing to the high heavens. You will be pleased to read that it also didn’t accentuate my pores old acne scarring or imperfections, just left my skin looking dewy.
This highlight costs £21 but I have seen sold for as low as £16.50 for a 4.5g of product. I find this quite pricey based on the fact you only get one highlight and not several in a palette, but I had been lusting over this for so long I ended up using Christmas to my advantage and sneaking it onto my Christmas list!. If you’re interested in buying you can find it here.
I will definitely be buying the Peach glow one next to try out. Have you ever tried any Laura Geller products? Let me know in the comments below!.
