Benefit BADgal Bang Mascara

Product Reviews, Uncategorized

Hello beauties, if you follow Benefit on any of their social media platforms then you will know that for weeks they had a countdown to a new product, everyone was waiting and trying to guess what their new release would be, we’re given space themed teasers which led most people to believe (including myself) that it would be a highlighter. It was in fact a new mascara, it is the younger sister to the BADgal mascara. After watching a few videos on YouTube I just had to pick it up and review it for you beauties.

BADgal BANG! 36-HOUR* FULL-BLAST volumising mascara creates MASSIVE volume without weighing down lashes. The gravity-defying formula contains aero-particles, one of the lightest known materials, derived from space technology. This innovative intense pitch-black mascara layers easily for bigger & BIGGER impact. Its custom big Slimpact! brush is streamlined to reach root-to-tip, corner-to-corner, upper & lower lashes for BIG VOLUME WITH 360° REACH!

Smudge-proof, water-resistant, volumising mascara. ProVitamin B5 known to fuel thickness & strength.

This mascara claims to give 36 hour full blast volume, with space technology to make a light formula, whilst being smudge proof and water resistant.

Packaging

This packaging is very similar to the original BADgal mascara, with its black tube and bold printed text. The tube itself is matte, sturdy and looks appealing to the eye with its studded handle detailing, It looks so bad ass. The box it comes in has all the handy information you need to know about the mascara on the side, talk about great advertising for those looking at it in store.

Application

The application wand is long and thin and is easy to hold and get into the corner lashes without making any mess or poking yourself in the eye (it’s happened too many times for me). The wand is also flexible so it makes it easy to wiggle onto the lashes to make sure every single one is evening coated . I love that it has a thinner consistently as I find thicker formulas slightly daunting, worrying that they will give that spiders legs look.

Results

I’m extremely pleased with the results, as someone who isn’t very good at applying false lashes and don’t have the time to apply them daily, this is a amazing alternative. This coats the lashes and makes them look full and thick whilst making them longer and still look natural.

(After one coat of mascara)

Price

This mascara costs £21.50 for 8.5g which I think is expensive for a mascara, however based on the fact that lashes can be pricey and the effort and time I will be saving not faffing around with falsies, I say it’s definitely worth the splurge. When I run out I will be repurchasing this as I love it so much!. You can find this mascara on the Benefit website here.

  1. I actually wasn’t going to buy this, I found it too overhyped by everyone from Benefit, but I am impressed with your lashes! I might check it out eventually! 😂 x

  2. Your eyelashes are lovely. Do you like this one better than the Benefit “They’re Real” mascara? Because I didn’t really like that one, so it makes me slightly hesitant to try this one. Though it seems to work great on your lashes.

    1. Thank you beauty ❤️ I didn’t get on with the ‘they’re real’ Mascara either, too clumpy for me, same as their roller lash mascara. This is definitely the best one they have brought out in my opinion, they sell a mini version if you wanted to test it out first before spending out. x
