Hello beauties, Not so long ago I mentioned in a earlier post how much I love the Colour Riche Lipsticks from L’Oréal when I reviewed the Balmain collab here. So when I was gifted this ‘Read My Lips’ set for Valentine’s Day I was so excited to take pictures of it and try these on, they were all shades I didn’t already own so I am so pleased to have them in my collection. I’m pretty sure this set was originally realised over the Christmas period and I’ve only been able to find it on amazon.
The L’Oréal Paris Read My Lips Gift Set combines three trend-setting shades of nude, pink and red from the best-selling Color Riche collection.
Designed to deliver a highly pigmented colour, the Color Riche Lipstick boasts a soft texture that glides on effortlessly. It features a unique slanted tip that contours your lips for a mistake-free application with every use. Expect a smooth, sophisticated and picture-perfect pout with a long-wearing matte finish.
This set includes three lipsticks, all encased in a gorgeous gold bullet packaging and looks very luxe on my dressing table/lipstick holder. They all come in the cutest little makeup bag with gold kiss marks on, this is so adorable and I’ve been using this to store my makeup brushes in when going on trips at the weekend.
There’s three shades in this set,
- ‘285 Pink fever’
This is a stunning pink shade, definitely something you would catch Barbie wearing, this is my favourite of the three and is the perfect shade to pair with dewy makeup looks in spring/summer.
- ‘630 beige a nu’
I love a good nude lipstick and this is the perfect nude for me, it’s very natural and has a ‘my lips but better’ vibe to it. I love this on days that I want a really subtle look but still want to wear some lipstick.
- ‘343 rouge sauvage’
The last lipstick is a pink toned red, this is my least favourite of all three as it looks very different on the lips then it does in the tube and I prefer a classic red or a darker red and I feel like this red doesn’t compliment my skin.
All three lipsticks have the creamiest formula and it’s so easy to glide on to the lips to create a soft lip look. You will see in the lip swatches below just how pigmented they are with one layer, and I love the glossy finish. As you can imagine these are super hydrating.
The only downside to these lipsticks is the staying power, as they have a glossy finish I noticed that when eating or drinking they fade easily, but it’s not a huge problem to re apply these as they don’t look cakey by applying another layer.
Shades ‘pink fever, beige a nu and rouge sauvage’.
This set costs £7 from Amazon which I think is amazing for three lipsticks as buying one in Boots or Superdrug costs more! You can find this set here
