Hello beauties, if you’re a avid reader of my blog then you will be aware of how much of a eyeshadow palette hoarder I am (and I’ll never be sorry) so when I see a gorgeous palette I just can’t help myself and it gets all my creative juices flowing. Today’s review is of the Focallure Everchanging palette and I’ll you let into a little secret, it’s cheap as chips!
If you’ve never heard of the this brand before, Focallure is vegan and cruelty free and sells makeup and skincare at super cheap prices. I’m pretty sure it’s a Korean based brand but I could be wrong! I have tried a few things from this brand including two amazing products, a Concealer and a Foundation . I definitely recommend checking them out but unfortunately the colour selection is horrendous!
I like the packaging, it has a cute girly print floral motif on the front with rose gold text. The inside is rose gold too and is laid out extremely similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes but this isn’t a dupe for any of them as far as I’m aware. You get a double ended brush included in this palette which is actually great quality and makes this really hand to travel with without having to bring extra eye brushes.
This palette has ten mattes and four shimmers, I think this is a great amount of each to be able to create some cut creases and halo looks with different finishes. I wasn’t a little dubious of the mattes, thinking they were going to be quick dry and chalky and lacking pigment. I was pleasantly surprised just how much I love the formula. There is so much pigment and they blend out no nicely as they are so soft and have hardly any fallout. The shimmers are, one word, incredible! The pigmentation is inane and have a really smooth buttery formula.
Shades- Salt, warm, season, glow, fall, leaves and mystery.
Shades- Honey, later, walnut, the palace, bar stool, sunset and mist.
This palette costs £5.99 which I think is steal for all the colours and how pigmented it is! If you want to get your hands on one you can find it here.
What do you think of the shades in this palette and the eye look I created with it? Let me know in the comments below.
Let’s be friends!
