Hello beauties, I think I can speak for everyone when I say that I love a bargain and Revolution Pro definitely offer that with their makeup range. I thought I’d create a look testing out and reviewing a full face of their products, some that are new to me and some that I’ve already tried.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation, it has amazing full coverage, it has a dewy finish which is ideal for my dry skin and also looks flawless in photos and real life. The problem you ask? Well it’s the way it wears during the day, it almost makes me oily which is something that never happens to me. It looks shiny and I need to touch up during the day, again something that I never have to do. It breaks up around my nose and chin because of the ‘oilyness’. I’m going to be using this up for looks and on days where I don’t have to be wearing it long but sadly I won’t be buying it again.
I’m so glad I found this concealer, it has amazing coverage, is a thick consistency and you only need small amount to cover a multitude of sins. I use this by squeezing a small dot on my hand and using a Real Techniques concealer buffing brush to apply. I found using a beauty sponge made it look a little patchy as it is quite a sticky concealer and product seemed to stick to the blender. I also love using this on my eye lid to prime them before eyeshadow. I picked up shade ‘C1’ which is a great shade for brightening my under eye.
I was after a new cream contour stick and as I loved the fast base stick foundation so much when it came out, I decided to pick it up in a darker shade to warm my up face and use for contouring. This works brilliantly and looks like flawless skin and not at all muddy. I definitely recommend applying a little bit at a time as it’s super pigmented. It’s going to last me ages and the shade ‘F13’ works perfectly to add some colour to my cheeks and forehead
I remember when I first reviewed this powder, I hated it then and still hate it now. It just leaves my face looking so white and ghostly. It doesn’t sit well on my skin and as you can from the close up picture below made my under eyes look so dry. I’m so gutted as I thought this would be a great dupe from my beloved Ben Nye luxury powder but no matter what way I apply (baking or a light dusting) it doesn’t look nice.
If you’re a avid reader on my blog then you know I love a gold highlighter, enter the Supreme Metals palette. Two of the shades are too dark for my pale skin but if you have a darker skin tone then I definitely recommend this bargain palette. I can just about get away with the middle shade and what I love about this is that it’s gives a creamy wet look sheen. I’m wearing it very naturally in the photos below but it can be built up to a blinding sheen easily without showing of any texture.
I was desperately hoping that Revolution were going to make a dupe of the ABH Soft Glam palette. It’s so pretty but I refuse to pay the price for ABH palettes and their tiny pan size. The Velvet Rose palette is STUNNING! Huge pan sizes and a great array of colours for those of you who like more natural looks and stunning for autumn as it has some gorgeous warm browns, nudes and golden shimmers. Each shadow is easy to blend and the pigmentation is incredible. It’s costs a amazing £4 which is a huge yes from me!
I really loved the idea of this brow cushion. It’s a sponge soaked in product and you use by dipping your angled brush onto it. I use the word soaked loosely though as there was barely any product being picked up on my brush so I was left with a barely noticeable brow. I’m not sure if this had dried up or had been used in the shop. If you have tried it and loved it let me know!
I’ve reviewed these lip pigments here. I chose to use this colour as I love a liac nude. Yes it makes me look like I’m a little ill, will is still wear it? Hell yes. That aside I really like the formula, it applies really easily thanks to the perfect sized applicator and wears well. It doesn’t fully dry down matte however as it’s more like a lip cream. This is shade ‘semblance’
Glitter used in this look is NYX glitter brilliants in shade ‘crystal’. Lashes used are Doll Lash by Doll Beauty.
